So true

Yep, that is me learning a back tuck. It ain’t pretty but you have to start somewhere
This past weekend I took a trip in to the past and looked at pictures from the past 6 years with the purpose of seeing how I’ve changed. I can’t decide if it was a mistake or not. Man, I was FAT and I had no idea. I knew I wasn’t happy and I knew I was losing weight but; each time I lost weight I lost sight of the goal a little bit and would prolong this journey. I’ve been at the weight loss thing for 6.5 years now, 3 before Crossfit and 3.5 to now with Crossfit . It hasn’t gone as quick as it should because I lose weight and get happy and forget that I wasn’t at my goal. I forget to stay hungry (not in that way)!
So, I can’t decide if looking back was a good thing or not. Part of me says, WOW! How far have you come!. And part of me says, WOW, you didn’t come far enough fast enough.
I’ll serve this as a reminder to my self to stay HUNGRY for the desire to be DONE and be at the end of the journey with a new story in front of me.
I’m thinking of putting together a HUGE before and after photo collage. I’ll keep thinking about it. I’ll post it here if I do.
On of the single coolest things to happen at Regionals so far this year. The regionals men of New Zealand doing the Haka for Ruth Anderson (of NZ) as she took 2nd on the podium at Australia Regionals.
And, the up close photo of the guys isn’t too bad either…

I’m in love! And, my husband is aware. My favorite quick serve restaurant ever, Pollo Tropical, opened a location about 20 minutes from me here in Atlanta.
Tonight it was Mojo Pork, Balsamic Tomatoes and Sweet Plantains. My god I could eat Sweet Plantains every day of my life.
My husband is out of town this weekend. I told him I felt bad but really didn’t for going there without him today. Yum-O!
Wow, I’m in awe of this guy, and not just because of his perfect physique.
1) if we had the kind of gyms he trains in here, I would still be personal training. Why don’t we!?
2) He eats not-so-clean. Yes! Did I hear Dan Bailey say…pasta? But that’s not paleo! *shock* ;)
3) Strength workouts are his only set workouts, everything else is made up on the spot.Rich Froning people. *claps*
This man is monster. He blows my mind. I can’t wait to see him fight for it again this year.
